The people of Kadapa District in general are backward in socio-economical front. Lack of awareness and dearth of resources are one cause besides their involvement, willy-nilly in the faction-ridden areas resulting in the ignorance of the importance of child-education.

        With the idea of giving help to the students of poor families who are aspiring for higher education this KADAPA RATHNALU Trust is constituted by the District Collector as the Chairman / Managing Trustee and the Superintendent of Police and the Joint Collector as the Vice Chairmen/ Trustees and other District Officers and some philanthropists as Office Trustees.

        The prime aim of the Trust is to provide opportunities along with amenities and facilities to create conducive atmosphere for the students to excel in their studies with good performance in tenth class public examinations in spite of facing several difficulties on account of poverty.

        The Trust is providing free intermediate education, Polytechnic and EAMCET Coaching to the tenth class toppers, who have studied in Government Schools in rural areas in particular and others in general and secured 500 and above marks in SSC exams to join them in Corporate Colleges.

        In this endeavour, philanthropists, Government Employees’ Associations and Industrial / Business entrepreneurs have come forward voluntarily to have their share in this sacred cause and work. Till now they sponsored more than 300 students, for their educational expenditure.
